Who doesn't love the city of Pasadena? It is filled with the most beautiful old historic homes and scenery. So when my next client called and asked if I would like to work with her on her home in Pasadena she recently moved into, I jumped at the chance! Her home is a beautiful 1920's home with original hardwood floors and windows. The room she needed help with is actually an addition added later on that never really felt right. This room is right off the kitchen and serves as the family room for this busy family filled with four teenagers and lots of friends! She needed all new from the ground up! New carpet, furniture, paint, window treatments and decor. She also needed the small bathroom attached to the family room updated as well and later on, she added on a small guest room and bath around the corner that needed some attention and "warming up". We wanted to keep with the traditional look of the home but make these rooms durable and cozy enough for a big family to relax in. I think we accomplished just that! I love how it all came together, and my client , her kids and all their friends will be just as pleased im sure!
Here are the before's and afters of the small guest bathroom just off the family room...Small changes made a big difference. We added wallpaper, had a new light fixture installed above a new mirror, and added a new faucet and all new hardware.
Made a big difference in quite a small space!
And here are the before's and afters of a small guest bedroom and bath room. Again, some small changes but they made a big difference.
